Cancer Council’s 7 Bridges Walk is back on Sunday 25 October 2026!
Get ready to join us as we walk 28km and over 7 iconic bridges to raise life-saving funds for all those affected by cancer.
Now in its 21st year, the event has raised over $17.7 million for Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research, prevention and advocacy programs and support services, like its 13 11 20 Information and Support line.
Enjoy music and entertainment along the way at six pop-up villages, where you can rest, grab a bite to eat and rehydrate.

How to take part
1. Register
First, choose your starting village. Next, select your start time and buy tickets to complete your registration.
Your fundraising page will be automatically created for you.
When you register and fundraise, you can win prizes and rewards.

2. Share your fundraising page
Personalise your page with a photo and dedicate your walk to a friend or loved one before sharing with your community.
All funds raised go towards Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research, prevention and advocacy programs and support services, like our 13 11 20 Information and Support line.
3. Plan your day
Get excited! Check out the course information including bridges, village locations and the distances between them. Learn about accessibility, free transport to the event and shuttle buses around the course when needed.
We have 6 vibrant pop-up villages located along the course, with food and entertainment for you to take a break and refuel.
4. Enjoy the greatest walk of all!
Walk up to 28km or take on a distance of your choice, around scenic Sydney Harbour across 7 bridges, stopping at the 6 pop-up villages.
Get amazing pics for your socials and chat with others about their stories.
