I've conquered for Cancer Council
I’m walking in memory of Andy Hallas and Mum
I’m taking on the 7 Bridges Walk again on Sunday, 20 October 2024 in memory of my Mum who died last year and Andy Hallas who was a great friend, they both died tragically of cancer.
I had Stage-4 cancer when I was in my early 30’s and am one of the lucky survivors; research is essential for the benefit of all of us and particularly our children and grandchildren, imagine the ‘horror’ if one of our’s was subjected to this awful disease. I find it very upsetting to see others with children who are ill, and can only imagine the grief if it was one of my young family members.
