I've conquered for Cancer Council

In honour of the late Kevin Carpenter - my Dad

On 30th October 2024, my number one supporter passed away, having lived a life of purpose for his 93 years. He had been diagnosed a few years prior with AML and whilst still present with us, he had to navigate regular blood tests and transfusions.

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 26th October 2025 to rejoice in a life well-lived and also as a way of acknowledging all the people who took care of Dad in his later years and showed him great respect and dignity, just as he had done all his life.

Any donations will be gratefully received as they will assist Cancer Council to resource funding for the management and prevention of cancers in the future.

Until it reaches your doorstep, you really have no idea how to respond, but when it does the resources created from previous fundraising efforts ensure the best possible outcome for your family at that time.

So far this year I’ve helped provide:

28 kids with a SunSmart education

or

1 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20

or

1 hours of a research assistant's time to work on research we fund

Thank you to my Sponsors
