A Walk for Irene
We’re walking in memory of Irene, a beloved mother, wife, and dear friend, who inspires us to face life’s challenges with positivity and grace. Irene passed away at the beginning of this month, at just 49 years old, after a courageous battle with cancer. Irene was kind, generous, the life of the party. She always enjoyed bringing people together - so it is fitting that we come together in honour of her.
Her journey teaches us that no challenge is insurmountable; her unwavering kindness, resilience and love touched the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. As we walk across Sydney’s bridges, we carry her spirit with us. We are reminded to embrace our own challenges with the resilience she embodied, and stop to enjoy the view.
By supporting the Cancer Council, we hope to raise vital funds for research and support services, ensuring that others can find strength and hope in their journeys. Together, let’s walk in memory of Irene, celebrating her legacy and the belief that every challenge can be met with positivity and courage.
