My Walk

I was one of those that never thought I’d ever get Cancer , when I was diagnosed in 2021 then underwent a peritonectomy and 6 weeks of internal chemotherapy, my whole outlook of life changed drastically. With the love and support I received from family and friends was eternally grateful. In a short period of time I would have had loved ones and close friends go thru similar experiences as I did. I am grateful every day I get to share with my family and friends and colleagues. 

I’m walking for a cancer free future

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 20 October 2024 and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour. 

Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.
