I’m walking for a cancer free future and in honour of the people in my life that I love

I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk on Sunday 20 October 2024 with my family and will be uniting with the community to walk 28km around Sydney Harbour. 

I will be honouring the people in my life who I love and care about so much. I’ll be walking with the intention of enduring this physical challenge with those who have braved much more difficult ones or who are currently doing so. Within the past year alone, 4 dear people in my life have been harshly affected by cancer—my mum, my aunt, my cousin and one of my best friends. 

Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant. 

I hope to raise some money with the hopes that less people will have to endure the demoralisation and suffering that cancer patients do and the heartbreak felt by those who care so deeply for them.
