I've conquered for Cancer Council

I’m walking in memory of my Grandfathers

I was so lucky to have two of the most wonderful Grandfathers. One who we called Pop and the other we simply called Grandfather. Both were true gentleman.

Grandpop was also a talented sportsman and I enjoyed many rounds of Golf with him as a child, learning patience and mindfulness in a game that can frustrate many!

Grandfather was a kind and compassionate man who always had a twinkle in his eye. He lived life to the full, travelling all over the world to visit family right up until a couple of months before he left us at age 93.

On Sunday 20 October 2024 I’m taking on 7 Bridges Walk with 5 of the best women I could hope to spend the day with!

I will be walking (and talking) in memory of my Grandfathers, and many other special people that have lost their lives to Cancer and in support of my family and friends that have been impacted by their loss.

Every year in NSW alone, more than 53,000 new cases of cancer are expected to be diagnosed and the impact on families, carers and communities is significant.

Please sponsor me and help those affected by cancer. Every step counts because all funds raised will help Cancer Council NSW work towards the vision of a cancer free future. Thank you for your support!

So far this year I’ve helped provide:

10 kids with a SunSmart education

or

7 calls to trained cancer professionals on 13 11 20

or

2 days of a PHD student’s world-class research
